6th September 2015 [Blog No. 66]

You will no doubt recollect from reading my blog in April 2015 that I’d been requesting of Sir Kevin Barron MP the name of the organisation who was already investigating Health Service Ombudsman Dame Julie Mellor. I wrote to him for the third time on this issue on 2nd July with a follow-up fax on 13/7/2015 because at that time I hadn’t received any response. It’s obvious he’d been stone-walling me thereby covering the back of Dame Julie Mellor, and I alleged, also her “corrupt staff”.


On 28th July 2015 I emailed and faxed Harriett Harman MP lodging a complaint about Kevin J Barron MP. To save repeating myself here see copied below my letter of complaint together with a copy of a response dated 12 August 2015.


On receipt of the email from Hannah Lazell, Ms Harman MP’s colleague, on 12/8/2015, I responded on 14/8/2015 via email because as you can see from the emails copied below they had taken the whole matter out of context. However, I did eventually receive a letter dated 14/8/2014 directly from Ms Harman MP saying she could not help and that she had passed the matter back to Mr Barron MP to see if he could assist me.

On 20th August I received an email from Kevin Barron’s Constituency Secretary [Sheena Woolley] together with an attached curt letter from Kevin Barron himself. See below a copy of his letter as attached to Sheena’s email. You see the shear arrogance of this Labour Party’s MP. He really thinks he is beyond reproach, and I allege that Sheena Woolley has actually lied to simply cover the back of Dame Julie Mellor.
I intend going through events and listing where in the past I have put issues to Mr Barron MP and where shortly after confiding in him and him asking for my permission to contact various people or organisations the results were adverse. One instance that comes to mind was when he asked for permission to speak to my instructed solicitor in Barnsley, then, that solicitor subsequently tried to bring a previous case about Bassetlaw Hospital into the proceedings, and he eventually tried to force me into signing a statement of truth on an application form stating the settlement figure was only worth £1,000. When my husband stopped me from signing the solicitor threw a very thick law book across his desk narrowly missing my husband, and him saying if he could do the job better to do it his bloody self.  

Another instance was when Mr Barron contacted the instructed Human Rights solicitor and then that solicitor went ahead and made an incorrect and premature Application to the ECHR, which resulted in the application being rejected. When I look back there have been many more incidents like these.

 In any event, and as per my last Blog 17 July; from the information I currently have it is blatantly obvious that I am well and truly being discriminated against by our NHS for entering the NHS into litigation in the past because on the 29th of this month I will have been waiting 11-months just to obtain an appointment date for a consultation with Orthopaedic Surgeon Mr Ray Monkhouse at the Leeds Teaching Hospital. And, that’s apart from the further delay of 3-weeks before the referral letter was actually faxed to Leeds by my GP’s Practice on 29th October 2014. This long waiting time cannot possibly be within normal parameters for the waiting times to see Mr Monkhouse because it was confirmed by Leeds that Mr Monkhouse saw routine patients within a period up to 4-months??

This true story continues. I repeat, I am not going away and it’s obvious I’m not on my own in this, others are having similar problems when things go wrong, and the back covering culture by our NHS, Solicitors, MPs and Ombudsman’s Office alike has to come to an end …….

17th July 2015 [Blog No. 65]

To-date I am still waiting for an appointment date from Leeds for the consultation with Mr Ray Monkhouse at the Leeds Teaching Hospital. The referral letter (according to my medical records) had been created on 8 October 2014. On 6 May 2015 it was confirmed to my husband that the referral letter was actually sent via fax from our GP Practice on 29 October 2014, three weeks later.

From the information I have it is blatantly obvious that I am well and truly being discriminated against by our NHS because on the 29 July 2015 I will have been waiting for a period of 9-months, notwithstanding the apparent further delay of 3-weeks before the referral letter was actually faxed to Leeds by my GP’s Practice.


I requested of the GP Practice a copy of the referral letter together with any enclosures that had been sent onto Leeds. Whilst I did expect to pay their reasonable costs for copying together with the standard charge for applying for copy records they charged me fifty quid in all for copying just 7 sheets of paper. However, I note in the print-off copy of the referral letter (see copy below) Dr S M Hussain had incorrectly stated that it was I who had specifically asked to be referred to their services in Leeds, and I believe his statement was very misleading and was one of the reasons for them not giving me an appointment date for me to see Ray Monkhouse.


It had been Paul Blenkinsop (who termed his status as being an Advance Practitioner) at the GP Practice who had said I should not have been left to my own devices in diagnosing and treating myself regarding my Right foot condition, and that he would be referring me to an orthopaedic surgeon in Manchester, and I fully agreed with him. Strangely, that referral came through for an appointment to be made at the Rotherham DGH and that after he had been made fully aware that I would not wish to take a dog for treatment in the RDGH orthopaedic department.

As I said in my last blog; I did receive a form in April (duplicated by post on the very same day) from the Leeds Hospital asking me if I still wanted the consultation with Mr Monkhouse.

I completed both forms advising them that I did and sent them back to Leeds (in duplicate one by recorded delivery post) and I’ve heard nothing since, albeit the recorded form was delivered  to Leeds Hospital and signed for by a J Farrell on 20/4/2015, and that was 3-months ago.

20th April 2015 [Blog No. 64]

As you can see from the copy letter dated 10th March 2015 and copied below; Sir Kevin Barron MP received a letter of response dated 5th March (also copied below) from our GP Practice Service Manager explaining that the referral to Leeds had been made in a timely fashion, that being 27th October 2014. She also explained that the waiting time for a patient to see Mr Monkhouse is a least four months. I’ve allegedly been referred to Leeds Hospital since 27th October 2014 and I still have not received any appointment date, and in a week’s time that will be 6-months ago.


I noted that back in October, on the day that the Leeds Training Hospital allegedly received the referral, I had a hit on my Blog by the Leeds Training Hospital.


However, due to the aforementioned hit by the Leeds Hospital I decided to write to the GP Practice in a fax on 7/4/2015 seeking a copy of the letter of referral as made to Leeds Hospital in October 2014, and strangely, in a letter from Leeds Hospital dated 8/4/2015 they wrote to me (duplicating their letter) asking me if I still wanted an appointment with Mr Monkhouse? And, I don’t know about you but I do not believe in coincidences?

My husband telephoned the hospital to enquire what the waiting time would be from the time of the GP referral for a patient to actually see Mr Monkhouse, and in the sound recorded conversation that ensued my husband was told that on receipt of the referral if Mr Monkhouse considered it to be urgent it would be 6-8 weeks but if he thought it was just routine it could be anything up to 18-weeks. Now; I’ve been waiting 25-weeks to-date without yet seeing Mr Monkhouse, so what does that tell you? I reckon I am still being discriminated against by the medics and the only reason they’ve contacted me now is because the Group Practice has been onto them again.

To save repeating myself see copied below my letter dated 14th March 2015 to Sir Kevin Barron (The Labour Candidate for Rother-Valley) in my attempt in obtaining treatment from our NHS.



I will now update you on what has happened since 19th March 2015 with the Health Service Ombudsman issue, and the now Sir Kevin Barron (The Labour Candidate for Rother-Valley). See copied below a copy of the email and attachment as received on 19/3/2015 from Sheena at Mr Barron’s Constituency Office and my letters of response to Mr Barron dated 28 and 30 March 2015.


It‘s been my observation from communications received from the Health Service Ombudsman’s Office that they connive in any way possible even to the point of corruption, to misconstrue your complaint thereby limiting the scope of their investigations to allow them throw-out your complaint. Then when you complain against them they say they have done nothing wrong which allows them continue with the back covering culture. Mr Barron and Dame Julie Mellor seem to me to have turned out to be no different because all Mr Barron has done since November 1998 is to pay me lip service and clap me through!!! No change there then.

However, it is currently a crucial time for MPs and it is feasible that Mr Barron might well cease to be my Local MP after May 7th. And, in a sound recording conversation Mr Barron did comment that he understood Dame Julie Mellor was losing her sight. Whilst I was sorry to hear that maybe that is the reason for her not being able to see the wood for the trees, by letting the medics and her staff shaft complainants!!!
 
This true story continues. I am not going away because the back covering culture by our NHS, Solicitors, MPs and Ombudsman’s Office alike has to come to an end …….

1st March 2015 [Blog No. 63]

Sorry that I’ve not updated my blog recently but I my Right foot’s been playing-up again causing me to suffer another fall, this time hurting the bottom of my back. It’s no good me going to the hospital because it seems to me I’m being discriminated against to the extent I cannot obtain any treatment.


I did discuss this matter again with The Rt. Hon Sir Kevin Barron MP due to a GP referral to Leeds Hospital and nothing becoming of it. I did not receive any appointment date. Our MP suggested I write to the Practice Manager. See my letter dated 5/1/2015 to GP Practice Manager copied below….


It has to be said that on 9/1/2015 the GP Practice left a message on our telephone answering machine confirming that an appointment had been made for me to attend the Hospital in Leeds. This was followed-up a few days later with a personal call from the GP Practice advising my husband that an appointment date would be following in due course for me to see Ray Monkhouse, Orthopaedic Trauma Consultant, at the Leeds Hospital. However, nothing has been forthcoming so I wrote to our MP again asking him to contact the GP Practice Manager on my behalf seeking an explanation for the obvious delay.





As you can see from the GP Practice response to our MP, the GP Practice had to obtain my permission before they could even communicate with Mr Barron MP over the matter. However, Mr Lea Hedges, him at the Health Service Ombudsman’s Office communicated with the KPPCC back in 2010/11 without him first obtaining my consent. He was way out of order in him doing that, and that was part of my complaint against him because after the KPPCC had received his communication they simply ignored my request for a response to my then Data Protection complaint against them which had been made on the advice of the Health Service Ombudsman. I wonder just what Lea Hedges had said to the KPPCC????


When I next met with Mr Barron MP he advised me that he had spoken in some depth with Dame Julie Mellor (Health Service Ombudsman) and her colleague regarding my complaint brought against the Kiveton Park Primary Care Centre. However, from what Mr Barron told me I allege that Dame Julie Mellor lied her way out of the matter to cover the backs of her staff, just like her staff did to cover the backs of the medics. She has simply attempted to move the goal-posts in the matter by making out it was simply a complaint brought against the Ombudsman. See copy of my letter to MP copied below….


As you can see we, Mr Barron MP, me and my husband, are now waiting to see Dame Julie Mellor’s letter of response to their meeting with Mr Barron MP, so I can then decide what further steps to take because no-way am I just going away and letting them all get away with how they have all mistreated me.

On 13 January 2015 the Rt. Hon Sir Kevin Barron MP brought up my case in the House of Commons in Health Questions, this time with Jeremy Hunt, the Health Secretary.

I tried to upload a clip taken from the House of Commons 13/1/2015 Debate with this Blog and I found it impossible to do it. Then, on just checking on my previous Blogs, I see that all my previous video clips have been edited by the powers that be. If it turns out that I am correct then where has Democracy gone?? "Freedom of Speech" my backside!!!

I met with the Rt. Hon Sir Kevin Barron MP again on 24 January 2015. See copied below my letter to him of that date together with the enclosure as downloaded from the Internet. Whilst you should find it self-explicit you will note from the enclosure headed ‘phsothetruestory’ that others are having or have had the very same problem as me in getting the PHSO to respond satisfactorily to complaints. They simply attempt to drive complainants away by fobbing them off with a load of Bull, and it has to be stopped.

However, on the plus side on 13/1/2015 the PHSO announced on that date a consultation on a new service charter. Let’s hope they take note on their exposed failings and also cease from changing complaint reference numbers half-way-through complaints, in their bid to prevent positive supporting evidence provided by claimants stacking-up in complaints brought against the NHS.



I am now awaiting a positive response from our MP so as to put this matter to bed once and for all because I reiterate again here, “I am not going away” without first obtaining a satisfactory settlement by the PHSO, in my case!
